Meadows
Home Health Care, Inc., was incorporated January 7, 1985, for the
purpose of providing home health care services for residents of Vigo
County. Meadows Home Health care is currently licensed to provide
services to citizens within five counties of the Wabash Valley.They
include Vigo, Parke, Clay, Vermillion, and Sullivan.
Meadows Home Health Care, Inc., is locally owned and operated and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunset Harbor, Inc. The corporate
office of Meadows Home Health Care, Inc., is located in the Sycamore
Building, 19 South Sixth Street, Suite 101, Terre Haute, Indiana.
Sunset Harbor, Inc., was incorporated in December, 1960, with the
idea of building long-term care facilities and leasing them to management
companies. The first facility to be constructed was Meadows Manor
East, a nursing facility at 3300 Poplar Street, that welcomed its
first resident in March, 1964. A second nursing facility, Meadows
Manor North, 3150 North 7th Street, began receiving residents in December,
1972. Sunset Harbor's construction thrust continued with the development
of Fort Harrison Villa, a single-family, attached-home subdivision.
Meadows HomeHealth Care was created in 1985. The final development
to date for Sunset Harbor is Cannon Inn, which was incorporated November
6, 1985. It is an independent and assisted living apartment complex.
